ADSL recommendations?
Hey I'm looking at getting ADSL, anyone recommend any ISP over another? It'll be purely for gaming because we have a separate connection for torrenting so it won't matter if it's an ISP that throttles. I keep hearing that Telstra are best for fast reliable gaming in New Zealand, would you guys agree?

I ended up going with Maxnet. I'm still not connected however because I went for naked DSL and they needed a Chorus visit to get us connected. Chorus still haven't visited, like 2 weeks later. It's a real shame that Telecom own the countries lines like they do, Naked DSL doesn't really save you anything in New Zealand and I bet it's because the ISP's are forced to absorb the ridiculous line rental that Telecom charge.
Anyway, check Maxnet out if you're looking for an ISP, I read all over the place that theirs was very good for gaming, and just look at their prices.

I believe that Telecom has some new plans as part of the total home package:

Best places for recomendations in nz would be in the geekzone forums or the gpforums broadband section
