Any one have / played it yet? thoughts? is the lack of dedicated servers for PC as bad as many are saying?

The campaign is awesome, you've got to play it. The multiplayer is also good. Theres a dedicated server hack out, which can do LAN play, but I haven't tried it. Theres a video out with someone using a form of wall hack. The multi is much better than the original Modern Warfare, some neat perks and kill streak rewards.

Yeah I have heard nothing but good things. Someone told me 'It's by far a complete new level of gaming'. I told him he was a dick. Although I haven't tried it I didn't really want to take his advice as he is really into the Sims and games like that.

Its things like this http://www.playfire.com/a/forum/call-of-...read/57824 that really have me worried, various no clip hacks and aim bots were supposedly up the day the game was released

I really don't understand what a 'new level of gaming' is supposed to mean. Is it that just this one time the game was easy enough for a Sims player to get past the very first single-player level? (That's usually the training part)

I really don't want to install this game on my PC. It is becoming some sort of ancient relic. An archaeological specimen, so to speak. Some kind of pre-historic fossil of sorts.
I think it's approaching the age whereby it becomes old enough to increase in value, though I would imagine it's nowhere near as bad as some of the Jurassic period dust traces that some of the others who use these forums might have.

Exactly. I have heard really good things though.

The same reason why I won't get this game also (besides being broke). I still have my computer that I brought to the very first Lytton LAN I went to. Not too many problems though. Only a CPU fan problem recently which I managed to fix. All the tools in the world won't fix my computer to run a game like that though Sad
