Apparently if you don't back the All Blacks, you hate rugby.

It's no wonder I hate the rugby culture in this country. I don't hate the sport itself, but the nation is so ridiculous about it.

I agree with you. It's rather impolite to misrepresent people in the poll and the rugby culture in NZ is too extreme, but at the same time, I don't really like rugby - the game.
However, I don't think the intention was to label everyone who doesn't back the ABs as people that hate rugby. I mean, can't you not vote in the poll and just click view results if you want to see the stats?
Sports has never really been very important, but if we beat Australia, that's a bonus.

Yeah it's the culture that is really gay. Also how these players think they are the best thing to walk to the earth when all they do is kick a ball around and chase it (depending on their position). The All Blacks have hardly shown that they are the best in the world (the Tri Nations coming up will really show if this is true or not), but they still claim to be the best team in the world. Majority of the population of New Zealand are idiots too and worship these guys when really, what do they do? One of them hit his wife and got away with diversion because he wouldn't be allowed to play over seas. NICE ONE NEW ZEALAND!

Some friends of mine once told me that 'league' sucked because they can't even hold the ball and mass drop it. It mass made me laugh, but no big deal.

League is by far better than union. The All Blacks played the best game they have played in years last night so it was exciting to watch, it's just their consistency is a question mark. League is much more faster, less time taken in scrums, line outs and there are much bigger hits in league. Either one or both are not everyones cup of tea.
